Kids cowboy boots! This won’t take long!…that’s what I thought!

I was simply looking for affordable cowboy boots for my two children for their cowboy outfits. Now I didn’t want to buy cheaply made boots because I knew they would be getting a lot of wear. My kids love to dress up and pretend to be cowboys. And, as a matter of fact, even when they’re not dressing up as cowboys, they still like to put on their cowboy boots with their other clothes too! I’m sure there’s a few other moms out there who know what I’m talking about. You know, these are the kids that would sleep in their cowboy boots if I let them.

Now with the economy as it is, I need to watch my pennies… so, I wanted to pick up a couple of pair of cowboy boots at a decent price, not the cheapest, but a fair price, but these boots also need to come with decent quality that will hold up to the normal wear and tear of kids playtime. I knew I did not need top-of-the-line quality cowboy boots for the kids because, as everyone knows, before those boots will ever begin to wear out, the kids will be in the next size already!

I bought cowboy boots not too long ago that were from our local discount shoe depot, and they came at a great price. But, they also came with the cheap quality to match. Those boots actually wore out before my kids grew out of them! So this time I wanted to move up to the next level and try to find some boots that would last until the kids grew into the next size. But, I ran into the same general problem everywhere I went — either I found the exact same “cheap boots” (that I knew wouldn’t last and would be sending me back to the store every few months for new boots) or…I found expensive boots that I just couldn’t make myself spend that kind of money on!
